Collecting the Honey.

In order to collect honey, you will need to use smoke to subdue the bees. Otherwise the bees will become angry and you won’t like that. Smoke Canisters are located outside the tavern on the wall.
You can find the beehives along the side of the Temple. Wear the smoke canister and activate it by touching it.
Touch either of the beehives to harvest the honey. There may or may not be enough honey in the hive to fill a pot. If there is, a pot of honey will appear beneath the hive. Be sure to check both hives. Touch the pot to add it to your inventory. You will need four pots for making mead.

Brewing the Mead.

Go to the mead brewery. It is located next to the Temple near the ocean.
Place the four buckets of well water close to the brewery and touch them to add them to the vat.
Once the vat is full of water, Do the same with the honey pots. The honey can only be added after vat has the necessary amount of water.
Heat is needed to begin the brewing process. Place firewood in the fire opening and touch it to ignite it. If the fire goes out, you will need to repeat this step.
Once all ingredients are added will the fire is lit, the mead will begin to boil. It will take 20 minutes. You may touch the vat at any time to check on the progress.
When the mead has been sufficiently boiled, touch the vat to transfer the hot mead into the fermenting vat.
The fermenting process takes another ten minutes to complete. You may begin to boil another batch in the vat while the previous batch ferments. (However, the brewery has been known to get confused and ‘lock up’ when doing this.)
Once the batch has finished fermenting, touch the wooden fermenting tank to transfer the now finished mead into barrels. If there are any barrels still rezzed from previous brewing session, the mead will not be able to transfer.
As the barrels are filled, they will be stacked near the brewery. Each batch of mead produces five barrels. When all five are full, touch each one to collect it and add it to your inventory. Remember to take all five.
When transporting the barrels, you may wear one if you desire.

Mead Brewery

Drop or rez a mead barrel anywhere you like. The barrel is a dispenser and contains enough mead to fill ten horns of tasty mead.
Touch the barrel to recieve a horn of mead.
Wear the received horn of mead and you will begin to drink it. When the horn is empty, the horn will disappear.
Keep in mind that mead is a fairly strong beverage. Slaves can be punished severely if found to be intoxicated and that free women might wake up with a hangover and a collar. Also, a barrel with fewer than ten servings in it is useless for trade, unless you wish to cheat your customer.
Please do try not to drink all the mead at once and definitely don’t drink and fly your tarn!
