Where to get the HUD/Meter – Go to the NLS Gathering Farm located on Hunters XX.  To the right of a sign with welcome information, you will see a post with rope coiled around it.  Click on the post.  You will be given a menu with two options of items to receive.  An NLS Meter Package (labeled HUD) and a Hunting Spear.  Get both.  Rez the meter package and a folder with the meter is given to you.  The hunting spear is labeled NLS Jagdspeer.  Wear all the items in the NLS folder.  (I also put the spear in there.)

Configuration – You will need to tell the system which planet you are from and what language you speak.  Choose Gor for the planet.

Using NLS – Producing goods requires that you be in an NLS enabled SIM.  Valnor is not enabled at this time.

How to Make/Gather/Harvest Things – Find a NLS producer-object and sit on it.  You will receive messages saying things have been added to your inventory.  Eventually you will be unseated.

How to Consume Things – First you must get the object from your NLS inventory into your SL inventory.  Click ‘Storage’ on the NLS HUD. You are given a menu.  Select ‘look into’.  In chat, your inventory is displayed.  Click again on ‘Storage’ and this time select ‘Nutriment’ and then the item you wish to move to your SL inventory.  You will get a confirmation when it’s completed.   Next, wear or rez the NLS Nutrient and click on it.  It disappears and your hungry stats change.

Hunting – Go find Bambi and her friends across the river.  Draw your spear.  /1draw spear  Throw toothpicks at the animals until they die.  Sheath spear. /1sheath spear
