What an Apprentice Priestess needs to know
(This is a work in progress so any comments, changes or criticisms (constructive) would be great. I’ll be updating this regularly)
As an Apprentice Priestess you are training to become a Priestess. This means you will need to work hard and dedicate yourself to learning all there is to know about Valnor, its history, traditions and its rules. A High Priestess will appoint a Mentor who will teach you all you need to know and guide you on your journey.
Your role as Apprentice Priestess will be formalised in a ceremony witnessed by the inhabitants of Valnor. The Goddess herself will conduct the Ceremony, assisted by High Priestesses, Priestesses and slaves. (LINK to Ceremony)
You will need to be prepared for the ceremony, turn up in good time and be suitably attired. The dress code is something white. (Dress, silks etc) Your Mentor will help if you are unsure.
Apprentice Priests must conduct themselves as befits their status. Behaviour such as drunkenness in front of slaves can lead to punishment (but only if you get caught!).
You will need to collar at least three slaves, two girls and a boy, brand them in a Branding Ceremony (LINK), train and care for them. Early on in your training you should be thinking about the design of your brand. Your Mentor will help you with this.
On Valnor you will meet two kinds of slave:
Private Temple slaves: these have already been collared and are owned.
Temple slaves: these are unowned and you may collar them if you wish.
You will need to learn:
– the layout of Valnor
– where all the traps and hazards are and how to avoid them
-how all the objects work and be familiar with their menus
– how to leash and control slaves
– combat skills and how to use weapons
– LOTS MORE!
