Lady Zelda has opened a co-op butcher shop in Valnor Village. She has found though that running a business is more work than she bargained for. (It doesn’t help that the shop is located next to the tavern.) She has decided that she needs help. She is looking for people who are motivated, reasonably intelligent, and not afraid of work. Here are the details of the day-to-day operations:
- Every so often, a delivery of meat carcasses arrives. This meat needs to be processed into a form which can be sold to the customers. To be more precise:
– Vulo need to be chopped into minced meat or ground and filled in to sausages.
– Verr needs to be made into either chorizo or blood sausages (yech). If the delivery has a lot
of verr meat, than cutlets can be made (using the verr repackaging table).
– Tarsh needs to be cut into bacon strips.
– Bosk meat needs to be cut into large steaks (use the bosk repackaging table for this.)
Remnants can be made into either chorizo or blood sausages.
– No meat should be left in the repackaging tables and all the meat of the delivery must be
processed.
– In order for the repacking tables to access the meat shipment, you will need to wear the BestWurstHUD.
This will also notify you when a shipment arrives. Lady Zelda will give you one for free! - The processed meat should then be made available to customers. There are blue dishes on the counter which are vending machines. Fill the dishes with the appropriate meat (chorizo, blood sausages, sausages, minced meat and bacon).
- Complete packages of bosk meat (caja carne de bosk 10) should be put into a folder and sent to me (Zelda.Zsun).
- Complete packages of verr steaks (caja carne de verr 10) should be first rezzed on the floor (this changes the name to English) and then put into the verr meat vendor (the meat on the yellow plate). Any extra bosk or verr cutlets (carne de bosk/verr) should be put into the storage boxes.
- On the very small chance that a customer arrives, please RP the role of a butcher. Unless of course (s)he just wants to press buttons and click.
Anyone in the Sisterhood group is welcome to work in the shop and may freely use any of the tools. Also, anyone in the Sisterhood will receive a discount on purchases.
Some other helpful information:
When a shipment of meat arrives, there will be green hover text about the G&S butcher stall indicating how much of what is available.
To make chorizo, blood sausage, sausages, minced meat, or bacon, sit on the G&S butcher stall. It will ask which type of meat to use followed by what you wish to make. It goes faster if you have G&S energy available (wear the G&S RP HUD and eat something) and even faster still if you use a G&S butcher knife. I have no idea where those are now.
The two G&S repacking tables will take cutlets (carne de bosk/verr) and partially filled meat boxes and repack them into filled boxes of 10.
The vending plates will display hover text when touched and display the contents and the price.
The storage boxes aren’t finished yet. 🙂
